November - December 08'

Well, since im too darn lazy to write multiple posts, i'll just sum up 2 months in just 1 post!
It's the end of the year! 2008 is practically over and 6 billion people are counting the days till the new year.. 2008 has been a wonderful year.. i had strengthen ties between friends and family members and gained new ones..

November..

November has been a great month! 1st on the list was the final exams.. did well, managed to maintain top 3 in class.. yeah.. and i missed prize giving presentation.. gotta face Cikgu Jubidah next year to get my e-report.. haha..

Next, was the starting of the school holidays.. nothing much though.. just using the time to relax and get off from books .. cos i will be facing more books in 2009..hahaha..

December..

The month of December was where most of my activities kicked off.. 1st was the 19th Kuching City District Camp.. Camp was at Santubong Co-curricular Centre.. 5 days and 4 nights of hell..
As usual.. Kuching High and the other schools will dominate the camp.. sending more than 3 patrols while ours only had 2.. Suprisingly, 14th Kch won the Camping Standard awards..literally they "sapu" it lah.. Kch High was dissapointed.. well.. all good things will come to an end..

Next, was the Sibu / Kapit trip...

Dad: Want to follow me to Kapit?
Me: Ahhh, for what?
Dad: Take Ikan Empurau..
Me: Boleh.. boleh..

Since a city dude like me had never been to Kapit, better go la cos not alot of people have been there.. Hey all you city dudes! Cuti Cuti Sarawak 1st before goin overseas! hahaha..

Then, Christmas came by... Christmas Eve Dinner was a blast.. and so was the Christmas Day Dinner.. 2 days of rich food.. fat consumption... 50%.. family members were like saying.. "ahh.. after Christmas have to go exercise.. all the fattening foods.." hahahaha..

And I had to go to our nation's capital to accompany grand-dad for MRI Scan in Selayang Hospital.. Thank God we managed to book a flight on the 31st..

Well.. basically that sums up the month of December.. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to all and Happy Chinese New Year in advance!!

August '08

well.. what y'all know? August is comin' to an end.. time really flies fast eh? well.. i think im gonna blog more frequently from now on..maybe once a week la...sudah cukup..hahahaha..

Here's some of the highlight events that commenced during this month..

1) Scouts 3/4 camp
2) The By-election

I'll start of with the Scouts 3/4 Camp......

On the 18th - 21st August, the 09th Scouts troop had a camp...it was officially called the Mid-year camp, but mid-year camp supposed to be somewhere around June kan? So Seamus and I declared it the 3/4 camp..damn weird...

Day 1
Reported in at 8.00 a.m. We were divided into 3 patrols, namely Helang, Kenyalang and Layang-Layang. Seems odd for the Layang-Layang patrol cuz their flag does not have the resemblance of a Swift..but wad the heck..There were 3 PL's..suprisingly I was one of them..hahaha...

We started off by building our camps.. my patrol did quite well..and was the most simplest one.. it can withstand wind and rain!! hahaha..bangga lah.. but what Seamus's patrol did was a suspended tent..yeah.. they were suppose to sleep above ground.. the rest of us were shocked.. we were all thinking, "can tahan or not?".. at the end..it did hold on....after a test by Camp Warden Zakey...but most of the patrol members were complaining saying, "aiyah, not comfortable lah"... What can you expect man? sleeping outdoors.. of course la not comfortable..hahahaha..

Durin' the evening..we were supposed to have Backwood's Cooking..yeah..Supposed to..but at the end..while we were cooking...there was a massive downpour.. only my patrol's campfire survived....because the other patrols light so early bah... "they so bangga and "kutuk" us.....hahahaha"....the rest all chickened out...We stayed under the rain for about 40 minutes trying to get the bamboo cooked.. in the end, we all got wet and i got my chance on sucking up to Seamus... " Hahahaha!! Coward!! Ur tent would not even last under the rain"...

Owh yeah.. wanna know what we ate for dinner? Tauge Soup specially made by Chef Amir and I...hahahahahaha!!

Day 2 / 3

Did all the normal activities.. hiking.. obstacle course.. la la la la la la la... malas wanna list out.. hahahaha..

A job well done to the committee and we all look forward to the next camp..

2) The By - Election

Dad: Son, u think who's gonna win ah?
Me: I think BN lah.. (being a BN supporter..hahaha.. kecik - kecik sudah main politik)
Dad: Aiyah.. Anwar sure win lah.. popular wad..
Me: No lah.. BN sure win..
Dad: Bet with you that BN won't win the election
Me: Can.. can.. what's the deal?
Dad: If BN win, i get you an XPS laptop..
Me: *ahhhhh... XPS..* Hah! No problem..
Dad: But if you lose the deal, u're not gonna get one until u're 21!
Me: *ahhhhh...XPS..XPS..* No problem..

Later that day.......

SPR Dude: blah blah blah.... dengan ini mengistiyharkan... blah blah blah... Anwar Ibrahim dengan majoriti 15000 undi..
Me: SHIT!
Dad: hahahaha... Say Goodbye to ur XPS!
Me: *ass*

So, the moral of the story is..

DON'T MAKE BETS WITH UR DAD.. OR RATHER WITH ANYONE..

it's been a while.. NOT!!!

Well, it's been a while since i've publish my last blog...Crap man.. i just published one a few days ago.. hahahaha...said the previous one was gonna be the last.. well..there's more interesting stories that i left out.. owh well.. this will definite be the last post for the month of july since it is the 29th already! Time flies so fast eh?

It's been a great month! Well, not so great actually...

Started off with exams.. yeah.. exams commenced on the 7th till 11th july.. Results were good.. despite dropping by a few marks.. blame Sri Aman and Bintulu!! hahaha! Good thing i told my dad about the trip and not to complain if i got low marks or not...hahaha.. Gotta improve durin' the final exam..

Talking about Sri Aman, we had the State Levels Traffic Games there.. we went on the 11th.. yeah, it was exam day.. we had to take our exam at the hotel.. The outcome of the competition...

* Got an A for PSK and a B+ for BM
* Lost by 1 summon
* Peter, Randu , Santhiish and Adrian lost their virginity..hahaha

Owh yeah! I almost forgot.. Yesterday there was a fire scene in our school.. we had to rush down to the amphitheather and assemble there.. the Fire Department Squad came.. Bomba lah.. The fire started from class 2H/5H where a short-circuit occurred.. the whole event was settled in about 30 minutes.. Was thinking that we will skip school and go home early! Hahahaha..

Mr. Pan's Retirement...

Well, for a start, it's my first post in July!! and certainly it will be my last post of the month because there's about 10 days left!

As most Josephians' know, Mr. Pan retired on the 18th of July, after 8 years leading the school. Had to wake up early for perhimpunan on Friday! But look on the brightside, at least we were dismissed from school early on Thursday! 4.25 p.m. ! yeah!! We had to wake up early for the "Perhimpunan Khas" or wad ever u call it.. The event lasted for about 3 hours!! Shit man!! At least it was better than Teachers' Day! hahahaha.. As assumed, there was a whole bunch of performance and bla bla bla... u get the picture eh?

The climax of the event was when Mr. Pan gave his last speech and got a Fishing Rod as a gift.. Looks like an expensive one eh, Mr. Pan? hahaha.. Everyone cried.. well except for the students..when Mr. Pan left the stadium..


Well, as expected, most of the female teachers were crying..

yeah, teachers were crying...

And most of the male teachers gave a big hug to Mr. Pan. Berlagak macho la..hahaha..

At the end, Mr. Pan got covered by some flour poured by the Form 3's..

Well..Happy Retirement Mr.Pan..May God Bless you in everything you do..

22/5/08-8/6/08

Hey y'all! wow..it's been a while since i've published a blog eh? hahaha.. anyways the holidays have been NOT too good for me.. well, i'll start off with Sport's Day!

Sport's Day was on the 22-23 of May. Everyone agreed that Sports Day wasn't as "meriah" as the previous one. Hmmm... Anyways, the first day of Sports Day was very tiring because everyone had to rush to put equipments (for the Scouts) and for the events. As always, the Scouts will come up of stupid ideas durin the annual event. And guess what we did!!

During the second day, i've got an event running. Yeah man! i finally got a bronze for my event!! wohooo!!! After my event had settled, i rushed to the middle of the field helping the Scouts (after all the tiredness, eh) Bruce told us we need to set up the "halangan" and the hurdles for the 2000m steeple chase and the hurdles event respectively. So, as always, no complains! Just get the job done!!! After 6 hours of hard work, we were finally done. Sit down, relax and watch the rest doing the steeple chase. As i told u, the scouts will come up of stupid ideas.. Well, during the break, a whole bunch of juniors and the rest of the seniors threw Bruce and Bryan into the pond!! Yes..Bruce and Bryan!! hahahaha!! It was definately an event never to be forgotten...

3 days after the Sports Day, I had to go to KL to take care of my grand-dad who was having an operation. And so, I did.. And for everyone's information.. i DID NOT have any fun there.. well..just a bit la.. just before the operation..hahaha..

I had to become a navigator there...Since i was the only one in the family (which was in Kuching)who knew roughly about KL roads, i had to navigate la.. Among the roads i knew was....

1) Jalan Hang Tuah, Jalan Tun Razak, Jalan Tuanku Abdul Rahman,Jalan Imbi, Jalan Bukit Bintang, Jalan Raja Chulan, Jalan Ampang (important roads if u wana get urself around the City Centre)
2) Jalan Kuching, Jalan Bangsar, Jalan Duta, Jalan Parlimen, Lebuhraya Persekutuan, Lebuhraya Mahameru, Jalan Syed Putra
(roads to get in/out of the City Centre and a gateway to Mid Valley City-for the Federal Highway and Jalan Syed Putra)
3) Jalan Tun Sambathan
(important road to get to KL Central)
4) Jalan Burhanuddin Helmi, Jalan Aminuddin Baki, Jalan Rahim Kajai, Persiaran Zaaba
(some of the important roads to get urself around TTDI)

those above were just examples..if u wana go to KL, ajak me sekali lah so i can navigate..hahahaha!! i've got alot more stucked up in my head...hahaha...well operation was on the 28th of May and we were not allowed to get in the Hospital which was in Selayang (distance is about from Kuching City to Serian) as my grand-dad was in the isolation (HDW ward) for 3 days. the 1 of June was the Most Stressful day as we had to go up and down from the hospital back to TTDI to collect our bags where we stayed in my aunty's house for about 5 days. And then we had to go back into KL City to check in to our new home, Berjaya Times Square. Next, we had to go back to the hospital, AGAIN, to pick up my grandmother and WENT BACK AGAIN into KL city. Phew! And it was Gawai!!!

The days after that were going well.. Grand-dad was discharged on the 3rd of June (what a relief!) and we wont have to undergo stressful days again. hahahaha..I went back home to Kuching on the 8th, after 2 solid weeks in KL, leaving my grand-dad and grandmother behind..my task was handed over to my cousin..who will be staying there for a week.. from the apartment i took the Monorail from Imbi station to KL Central..after that i took the KLIA Express straight to KLIA..before that, i had to wake up at 7.00 a.m. to check in my luggage in KL Central ( as it was a must to check in bags 4 hours prior to departure). I reached KLIA at 11.15 a.m. after leaving the apartment at 10.15 a.m. I went straight to the departure hall and passangers was already boarding! What an accurate timing!! hahaha.. Flight took off at 11.55 a.m. and landed roughly ( as it was raining in Kuching) at 1.30 p.m. After going through immigration checks, i was ready to go home. But there was a terrifying news waiting for me.. After approx. 30 minutes waiting for my luggage, i could not find it. I went to the MAS Lost n Found Counter and reported that my bag was missing. They gave me a statement and would call if my baggage was to be found. I went out meeting my dad and the rest of the family with a sour face..hahahaha!!

2 hours later, when i had finally got home, the officer from the counter rang on my cell. My luggage was found! What a relief! i had to go back all the way to the airport to collect my bag!! Sheesh! Harga minyak sudah naik lah!! hahaha.. anyways i asked the officer what had happened to my bag..he said that Someone took my bag by mistake..bloody hell!! dat Someone could not even recognise his own bag...hahaha.. anyways.. after that I went straight for home to get ready for school the next day... WHAT A HOLIDAY!!!

Teacher's Day.. 16/5/08

well, today is Teacher's Day!! yeah man!! so today i've gotta wake up early 4 school..at 5:30 a.m.!! damn sleepy rite now..but look on the brightside.. there's no school in the afternoon!! boo ya!!

well, the event started at 8:00 a.m. It was supposed to start at 7:00 a.m. but as you know, the details in the letter are meant to be "broken"..hahahaha

It started off by singing the Negaraku and speeches n bla bla bla..u get the picture right? Suprisingly the speeches were quite short and we jumped on to the performance part.. There were so many that my friends and I lost count of it..hahaha.. anyways.. there was this taekwando performance.. it was really cool but damn dangerous.. there was even this shuffling performance which everyone thought it was boring and damn lame....

Well, thank God, after numerous numbers of performance, the event came to an end. The whole thing ended at 10:00 a.m. which was good because everyone was damn tired and sleepy. Some of the ex- josephians of primary school, dawson, reuben and I just to name a few, went over to the primary school side to pay a visit after the event. Our ex-teachers were so glad to see us.. thought they had forgotten about us edi..hahaha

hey hey hey!! school tests are over!! yeah! it doesn't really matter actually cuz everyone's not studying 4 the tests! including me! haha... neways.. our class just HAD to sit 4 the PSK test AGAIN cuz Someone cheated durin' the test.. Nice one la Seamus.. u just Had to cheat on the test!!! hahahahaha..

Jobweek 2008

Attention all Scouts!
In case you haven't noticed, Jobweek is goin to be held on the first week of the holidays. Jobweek is basically, goin around people's houses and clean them up! Who wants to waste their holidays goin around cleaning people's houses eh? well..what to do? Its for the Funds for the Scouts' Headquarters..Well look on the brightside..if we managed to collect RM 50 and above, we're gonna get a badge! cool eh? finally after a long time , St. Joseph's Scout Troop is finally gonna participate in the Jobweek. hahahaha..

yeah man!! 22nd - 23rd of May!

finally..after months of waiting..the school's annual Sport's Day is arriving. As always..i will be taking part in the 3000 meters walkathon race. Aiming to get a medal this year. hahaha.. dream on man! anyways..the scouts with their crazy ideas will find ways to make the Sport's Day more interesting!! hoping that we can bust the " Bilik Polis" again!! hahaha..

P.S. I got my Usaha badge!! yeah man!

the new beginning..
